In the past five years, the flexible electronics team has undertaken numerous projects and received many awards, including: 3 projects of Natural Science Foundation of China; 7 Provincial or Ministerial projects; 1 project was selected into the News and Publishing Industry Development Project library; 1 project won the major scientific and technological achievements in Hubei Province; 1 project of National Doctoral Fund; 1 project of the Foundation for Returned Overseas Chinese Scholars, Ministry of Education; 15 authorized invention patents and 5 utility model patents; 1 third prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Award; 1 third prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China Light Industry Council. Besides, our team has published more than 50 academic papers on Phys. Rev. Lett, Rhys. Rev. B, Nanoscale, Appl. Phys. Lett, New J. Phys and other SCI journals, which have been cited up to 600 times. Furthermore, our team also guided students to participate various competitions. The students won the golden prize of the 7th Business Plan Competition (B.P.C.) and the first prize of the 12th Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Work Competition for college students nationwide in the “Challenge Cup”. Our students also won the golden prize in the “Internet +” Competition.
Our team has done much research and development in the field of flexible electronics and accumulated a wealth of experience and advanced technology. Since 2006, the research team has carried out the studies of materials processing, preparation and performance test of flexible electronics, the preparation and development of flexible electronic devices. At the same time, we have refined the less layers of graphite and prepared some flexible electronic materials, such as color conductive ink, printed pressure-sensitive conductive adhesive, water-based high electron conductive carbon paste, and obtained related patents. In 2008, we began to develop the printed book type flexible display technology and made further researches in flexible electronic displays aspects, including display materials, devices development, graphene extraction, the preparation and physical research of transparent oxide electrode film, the drive circuit design, interactive stereoscopic projection system, three-dimensional television research. Based on these studies, we have published many articles and received the related patents. Recently, our team has launched a multifunctional medical testing devices, developed a non-invasive administration of child micro-current injection and infusion alarm device based on transmittance changes, obtained two patents for invention. Meanwhile, in order to promote the development of the packaging discipline in the internet of things era, we have developed a variety of technologies used in the monitoring and information transmission of packaging and transportation, including flexible temperature (humidity) sensors, pressure sensors, gas sensors, magnetic sensors and flexible RFID to implement the integration of packaging efficiency, energy saving, safety, environmental protection, control, operation and management.
