Recently, a postgraduate of the School of Printing and Packaging Wang Leiling won DAAD Scholarship which was awarded by the largest academic exchange institution in the world, i.e. DAAD. DAAD provides financial support for the academic exchange between international students and scholars and awards scholars who do well in a certain field.
Wang, admitted by the School of Printing and Packaging as a postgraduate in 2008, joined the exchange program called ‘1.5 + 1.5 Printing and Media Technology Cooperative Training Program for Professional Masters’ jointly launched by Wuhan University and The University of Wuppertal in 2010. Students of this project are required to complete courses of the first one and a half year in WHU, as well as individual project internship, German training and Test DaF, and then they can go to UW for another 1.5 years’ study. Wang Leiling started her second 1.5 years’ study in 2010.
Prof. Dr. Andreas Frommer, vice president of UW, spoke highly of Wang on her academic level, leadership, and attitude towards challenges.
