A few days ago, in the 9th “Challenge Cup” College Students’ Entrepreneurship Program Competition held in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, a project named “Butterfly Delicacy Electronic Business Platform” finally won the gold award. Wang Yu, undergraduate of grade 2011 from our department, and Liang Zhengyu, undergraduate of grade 2012 from our department, participated in this project.
It is learned that Butterfly Delicacy Electronic Business Platform focuses on the local cuisines featuring freshness and convenience. The project is aimed at expanding the marketing methods, changing the traditional way of consumption, creating a comprehensive online delicacy platform combining food consumption and social intercourse as a whole. Guided by teachers from Economics and Management School of Wuhan University, this project includes the students from International School of Software, Economics and Management School and School of Printing and Packaging.
Liang Zhengyu was responsible for products orientation and demonstration of this platform as well as Product and Service part of the business plan. Meanwhile, Wang Yu undertook the task of typographical design, product image design and the creation of simulated diagram.
Through almost ten months of hard work and dozens of simulated defences , this project finally won the national gold award. In the past five years, our students have won wonderful prizes in a row in “Challenge Cup” contests, which once again demonstrate the achievements of our educational philosophy of "Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship".
