On the occasion of the 36 period of College Students' Quality Development Forum in our department, 2016 session of the Graduate Committee students interviewed the lecturer Dr. Zhang Fan.

This interview was very pleasant. In this interview, Dr. Zhang Fan answered our questions with a light and fun tone, showing the humorous personality of a serious scholar.

Firstly, he said that he was fond of life with challenges rather than the fixed lifestyle in America. In addition, he prefers working with people rather than facing with machines. Therefore, he gave up a relatively stable job in the United States and returned to China to be a teacher. Secondly, he told us about his dream when he was young. He pointed out that our dream may not be very clear, but we still need to pursue something. He said the most difficult thing is the decision to act and the rest is merely tenacity. At last, we took photos with Dr. Zhang Fan to memorize this interview.

It is reported that Zhang Fan, the postdoctoral in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, is the newly introduced high-level talent of our college. His research directions include cloud computing, big data, digital information research and other fields.
