For students, study always comes first. If you are going to pursue a further education after graduation, you should lay a good foundation for the basic courses. While if you are going to work after 4 years’ study, professional knowledge will become the core of future work. Besides, students with better academic records are more likely to win a scholarship. Therefore, the significance of study speaks for itself.
Scientific research also benefits a student from many aspects. Scientific research can be classified into academic research and applied research. The objectives of some researches are to achieve certain results, such as papers and patents, while some are to participate in all kinds of competitions. For example, the Challenge Cup can be classified into scientific works competition and entrepreneurship competition, with the two competitions having a one year gap. The former one values papers and patents whereas the latter one emphasizes the market value of the scientific research project.
Along with awards, what you can also get is the information about the latest development and the most advanced technology of the field you are in. Therefore, you can understand the prospects of your major and discover your interests. Moreover, you can have a deep understanding of what you have learnt and apply theory into practice. What’s more, scientific research can help us discover a wider scope of our major than only printing and packaging, such as polymer materials, microelectronics printing, and color image processing, etc.
In fact, everyone contributes to the success of a team. What matters most is that everyone has a team spirit and cooperates with each other. I believe that such experience will benefit our future study and work greatly.
In campus life, there are many kinds of organizations and activities students can join in. You are encouraged to take part in those sports and arts activities providing that it won’t cost you a lot of time and energy. They provide you with opportunities to get connected with many interesting people, and to discover your own interest at the same time. Students’ Union is also a good place where you can get to know many excellent people, show your talent and learn to behave properly in different occasions. All your experiences in campus would turn out to be wonderful memories of your youth.
Right at the beginning, the path might be fraught with unexpected impediments and challenges and you are confused every now and then.)However, if you are willing to fight for your dream, you are sure to win a bright future.
