School of Printing and Packaging (PPS) held a seminar on work ideas of 2013 on February 21st.. Zuo Jun, the Secretary of Chinese Communist Party(CCP) general branch in PPS ,held the seminar. Leaders of PPS, directors of the research office, directors of the teaching experiment center, director of the party and administration office, and secretary of general Youth League branch secretary in PPS attended.

Before the Spring Festival, the website of PPS released the meeting notice to arrange the "homework" to all the participants: all middle-level cadres from the point of what are they in charge of to think how to do a good job this year.

Li ZhiJiang, the director of printing engineering research office, and Li Houbin, the director of packaging engineering research office, reported the work objectives and measures in aspects of discipline construction, building of the contingent of teachers, scientific research, personnel training, foreign exchange, and revenue,etc. Wang Yulong, the director of teaching experiment center , Guo Yongjun, the director of the party and administration office , and Fang Ping, the secretary of general Youth League branch secretary in PPS, reported to the meeting respectively around their own work responsibilities. Yi Yaohua, the vice dean of PPS, and Zhou Cuifang, the deputy secretary of the Party branch in PPS also introduced their own work ideas and plans.

Secretary Zuo Jun give a speech named “Unite the people, Accumulate power, and Plan scientifically to promote development of PPS”. 4 aspects of work are highlighted in his address, Firstly, grasp the characteristics, the internal and external environment of our department to judge the situation and plan development scientifically. Secondly, strengthen party construction and ideological politic work, and further consolidate power through the 30 anniversary of Department event. Thirdly, do a good job of social service work, and enhance the strength of running our department, Fourth, enhance the concepts of student working, promote the growth of students.

Dean Wan Xiaoxia summarized key work and work ideas in discipline construction, personnel training, scientific research, team building, personnel work, international exchange, and financial management.
