From June 29th to August 21st, 15 undergraduates majoring in printing and packaging engineering from the School of Printing and Packaging attended the Summer Internship in Anhui Times Publishing Media Firm. They interned respectively in three New Media Publishing Co., Ltd., i.e. “TIME FLOWS SHADOW TIME FACE”, “TIME ROAMING” and an education publishing network company called “TIMES E-BLOG”, which all belong to the Times Publishing Media Firm.

Training high-level talents with the digital media industry was a new measure taken by the department of printing engineering this year. The internship mainly involved in digital content management, operation, development and other relevant departments. The content involved the systematic components of digital publishing process, functions of each component and the planning, design, development and publication of digital media products. Through the two-month internship, students understood the technology frontier of digital media and widened the professional horizon. Through participating in the development and research of related projects, students applied theory to practice, enhanced their practical ability, cultivated the team cooperation spirit and adaptability to new positions.

In early April, our school signed a base agreement with Times Publishing Media Firm for the training of excellent undergraduate engineers majoring in printing engineering. Both sides will carry out the one-year excellent engineers training plan next year. The summer internship was a meaningful experience for the excellent engineers training class and will promote the deep fusion of China's traditional media and new media.
