In September 27th, 2011 to October 5th, Dean Prof.Wan Xiaoxia led a delegation to visit the Wuppertal University on invitation in Germany . During visiting, delegation discussed with Wuppertal University and signed the Cultivation Plan of Sino-German Joint Training Program of Printing Media Technology Bachelor's Degree and Cooperation Protocol of course credit swapping, Sino-German joint training printing media technology Master graduate (revision) , it further promote the in-depth and substantive cooperation between two universities in joint training of senior talents of printing media technology .
During this visit, delegation received the great importance attention and thoughtful arrangements of Wuppertal University . On the morning of April 30th, the Wuppertal University arranged the officer in charge of international exchange to introduced the the situation about school development history, discipline and speciality setting , overseas students and international partners to the delegation, then accompanied delegation to visit the school library, student cafeteria, student apartments and other facilities.
In that Afternoon, Dean of the Wuppertal University electronic information and Media Technology Institute, Professor Kummert held a special welcome ceremony for delegation, he spoke highly of the quality of training talents of Wuhan University, the most outstanding performance, whether it is professional learning spirit, independent life ability, team cooperation, the ability to face and solve the problem, or communication with the German teachers and students, and adaption into the German national culture and other aspects to be more active and positive, which reflects the the level of training high quality talents of Wuhan University. At the welcoming ceremony, the Dean of Wuppertal University printing and media technology department, Professor Jung, fully affirmed the achievements in joint talent training project in six years . At the same time, he puts forward, based on programs which exchange and joint training undergraduate and graduate students, he hoped to carry out PhD student exchange programs, visiting teachers, education, scientific research and academic exchanges activities. Wan Xiaoxia said that the two sides will further promote the convergence and implementation of the project work, expand exchanges and cooperation in the scope and space, two sides will promote international schooling to a new stage.
During the visit, we have a special visit in October 1st to visit international students from Wuhan Universities, and held a forum to communicate with them. Currently in spite of during the summer holidays in Germany , when informed that their teacher to see them, everyone regardless of work study program, from all over Germany rush back to schools and talked with delegation about their study, life and other harvest and the feeling. Dean Wan Xiaoxia bring the moon cake, candy, and Wuhan local specialties from home to the students. She is concerned about the students' academic progress, living conditions, leisure culture and entertainment arrangements, and hope that all students cherish the opportunity to study abroad, make due contributions to future development of China's printing higher education and printing industry .

The Wuppertal University is strong in science and engineering, a scientific research level of first-class universities, always ranked in 10 - 30 among more than 330 German universities
The Wuppertal University has physics, mathematics, technology security, printing engineering major, which are best in Germany, even Europe. Its printing engineering professional education has 75-year history, now can cultivate bachelors, masters and PhDs .In 2010, our department and the Wuppertal University launched print media technology undergraduate joint training international cooperation project with the 2 + 2 Mode, at present enrolled 2 batch of exchange students, the first batch of undergraduate students will went to the Wuppertal University to continue to complete their studies in 2012 .
During the visit, delegation visited investigated the famous organization in the field of printing educational and printing industry -German printing research institutions Fogra (Graphic Arts Technology Research t) and Techcon company. Ren Dejian, the director of Hongkong Yong Jing Tang paper products Co. Ltd. was invited to join us in exchange visits. Mr.Ren had in-depth discussion and exchangeand with Prof.Urban and Prof.Jung on printing quality control.
