The 3rd International Graphic Communication Seminar started and hosted by School of Printing and Packaging, Wuhan University was held in the Lecture Theatre of School of Printing and Packaging during December 17th and 18th. Experts and scholars from South China University of Technology, Beijing Institute Of Graphic Communication, Tianjin University Of Science and technology, The PLA Information Engineering University, Wuhan University, etc. attended the seminar. The Secretary of Party General Branch Huang Zuobin delivered a welcome speech and declared the meeting open.

This seminar was the 3rd International Graphic Communication Seminar held by School of Printing and Packaging continuously aiming at inviting counterparts and experts at home and abroad to explore the influences on traditional means of information transition brought by the development of new technologies, materials and crafts and to research how to make the ancient printing art glow with new vitality in such context. This seminar was characterized by smallness, quintessence and profoundness and would efficiently facilitate academic communication and development of technologies in printing industry. At the same time, it would provide strong support for subject orientation in the new situation.
