On 11th November, Luc LANAT, French expert in paper standardization visited School of Printing and Packaging.

On 12th November, Luc LANAT gave lectures on the whole process of paper-making, emphasizing the advanced technology of paper-making and the prospects of the standardization of printing industry. In the afternoon, Luc LANAT had a meeting with professors from School of Printing and Packaging. During the meeting, the standardization of printing and packaging and the promotion of standardization were discussed in the meeting.

Luc LANAT was one of French paper Technology Industry Association and was once president of Standard Technology Committee for Graphic Communication. In2009, he started the Paperdam Foundation, and in 2014, this Foundation issued ISO 15397.

According to Luc LANAT, cooperation between School of Printing and Packaging and University of French printing Engineer was expected to carried out.
