Recently, Professor Qian Jun and doctoral student Liao Yu from our department won the first prize in the North American Division of the 14th Chunhui Cup Chinese International Student Entrepreneurship Competition.

The award-winning "Industrialization and Promotion of High-Performance Carbon-based Water-based Conductive Ink" project was jointly completed by two teachers and students during the study visit and joint training at Yale University, together with the Yale University Professor Lisa's research group.

This project is based on the mature research and development foundation of conductive inks of our department, and cooperates with Professor Lisa's carbon nanoduct material research group to develop high-performance commercial conductive inks and launch advanced and high-performance writable conductive pens.

As an excellent work, this project has been invited to participate in the 14th "Chunhui Cup" Entrepreneurship Awards Ceremony next month, the 2019 China Overseas Talent Exchange Conference and other activities.

It is reported that the "Chunhui Cup" Chinese Overseas Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was organized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology. Since 2006, the competition has been held for thirteen consecutive sessions, and 448 students studying abroad who have been shortlisted for the project have embarked on the road of returning home and starting a business.
